The Mission of HaMayan is to build & sustain a vibrant Orthodox Jewish Community that opens its heart through prayer & learning; strengthening the bonds of love and friendship between all Jews. In this spirit each individual who joins with the kehila is inspired to grow and deepen their connection with G-d.
Aims
- To establish a community founded on principles of halacha, spirituality, positive outlook, & song and dance, where Jews of all backgrounds, ages and levels of observance are welcomed in a spirit of unity.
- To encourage the full participation of men & women in the community.
- To respect every person's individual way of praying and communicating with G-d in peace and tranquility, undisturbed by others and undisturbing of others.
- To inspire a passionate commitment to all aspects of Torah study.
- To demonstrate our love & commitment to Israel.
